Associate Project Manager (fixed-term)
Job Summary:

Its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects. This role is responsible for tactical project management of small to large projects from blue sky to close out. You will regularly interface with creative, technical, engineering and construction disciplines in the delivery of show/ride design and systems throughout the life of the project.  You will also act as frontline manager responsible for monitoring budget and ensuring that delivery schedule is met.

This role will require you to be onsite in the London office 4 days a week. This role is a fixed-term contract until Dec 2030.

What You Will Do

Assist in managing the entire scope of a small project or scope of work that is self-contained, definable

Integrates project information with all parties involved                  

Assist in presentations to executive management on project status  

Assists in scheduling, estimating, and budgeting within project scope

Independently performs virtual design and construction simulation. Leads work of coordinator, support staff, and/or intern

Begins to take on responsibility for a full project at the guidance of a more senior project manager       

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to think strategically and tactically about complex issues and problem-solve to resolution

Ability to comfortably communicate in presentation, conversation, and written correspondence, to project team, Senior Management, consultants and partners

Demonstrated leadership qualities, interpersonal skills and teamwork/partnering ability    

Minimum 2 years relevant experience                                                            

Degree in a WDI core discipline such as: Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or advanced business degree/ or equivalent experience
