Our 8-10 week Associate Project Manager Internship is designed to give you hands-on experience and insight into the various phases of utility construction projects. Under the direct guidance of our experienced Project Managers, you will actively participate in every stage of a project's life cycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closing. You might even be involved in projects with an environmental component, making this experience both educational and environmentally conscious.

What You'll DoAs an Associate Project Manager Intern, you will:
Collaborate with Project Managers to review project costs, schedules, safety, quality, and completion.Assist in the preparation and maintenance of construction progress reports, re-projections, and project-related files.Contribute to the development of project estimates, pricing, and schedules.Aid in the creation and upkeep of schedules, budgets, and other necessary project documentation.Prepare and maintain cash flows, monthly billing, and assist with change order requests for assigned projects.Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including management, customers, construction crews, and foremen.Monitor and report on project health.Prioritize safety in all project activities. What You'll Get Actively enrolled student at time of internship, preferably in a Construction Management program.A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.Basic oral and written communication skills.Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, and email software.A willingness to travel to job sites.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.Enthusiasm for learning and growth.
