Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Lead with 4 to 6 years of experience in Oracle DB Admin to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing database administration tasks ensuring optimal performance and contributing to the overall success of our projects. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site during day shifts with no travel required.


Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the maintenance and security of Oracle and Postgresql development testing and production database environments The DBA plans backup and recoveries disaster recoveries and maintenance of the data schema

Clear understanding of oracle Database Architecture

Clear understanding of Postgresql Database administration

Experience in exportimport RMAN

Experience in Hot and cold Backup and restoration

Experience in Database patching Database upgrade Database Migration

Experience in performance tuning

Knowledge of SQL

Ability to do capacity planning and DB configuration for high performance

Good in Linuxunix command

Excellent communication Skills written verbal

Open for 247 shifts

Goldengate knowledge is added advantage

Any other DB MSSQLMYSQL knowledge is added advantage

Any Scripting knowledge shellpythonpowershell is added advantage

Any cloud knowledge AWSAzureGCP is added advantage

Install upgrade migrate PostgreSQL rdbms database cluster

Strong knowledge in Database architecture

Expertise in database high availability and disaster recovery solutions

Strong knowledge on replication setup

Database troubleshooting and expertise in proactive and reactive database performance optimization

Expertise in Database Backup and Recovery

Design Redesign the physical architecture to meet clients requirement to provide optimum performances

Manage the minor and major upgrades

Resolve difficultcomplex incidents affecting the operationavailability of highprofile production databases and handle the escalations

Working knowledge on AWS cloud RDS

Manage the complete Release Cycle from database perspective

Involve in Automation and new ideas to make the process optimization to meet the unit and customer goals

Participate in the planning preparation and execution of regular and other mission critical activities

Knowledge of ITIL process to cater process like Incident management problem management change management and release management

Identify and maintain Performance metric of databases operation Lesson learned and RCA reporting and assist in development plan from them

Plan and implement medium to highrisk changes on high profile production PostgreSQL databases

Analyze and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on high profile production databases

Motivated to keep learning new technologies

Documenting all the production changes and standard operation
