Job Summary
The Red Hat Procurement team has an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to apply their foundational skills and experience, and to develop operational skills within a fast paced, ever changing environment.
The candidate will be responsible for varying operational responsibilities across all spend categories including IT, Corporate Services, Marketing and Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), engaging Red Hat stakeholders, as well as, managing Tactical Sourcing workload including the review of purchase requisitions, contracts, supplier onboarding requests and stakeholder queries via Buy@Redhat tickets, and maintaining all tactical spend dashboards. Your success will be measured against business metrics such as stakeholder satisfaction, timely review of contracts and stakeholder tickets and contract & supplier management. You will report directly to the EMEA Procurement Senior Manager and have an opportunity to develop your expertise in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Support the creation of Purchase Orders across all Souring categories;
Partner with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure all operational responsibilities are concluded in a timely manner;
Manage Buy@RedHat tickets and support stakeholder queries, purchasing approval requests and supplier onboarding activities;
Complete basic reviews of contracts under the supervision of Senior Sourcing Managers;
Manage all administrative responsibilities for the IT, Marketing, Corporate Services &GWS categories , review and approve Purchase Requisitions and field operational questions that may come from stakeholders;
Identify and implement improvement opportunities in procure to pay processes that can increase efficiency and productivity within your role
Required Skills / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related field;
1+ years of relevant experience, preferably within (but not limited to) Procurement;
Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills;
Good analytical skills
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement creative solutions;
Be proactive and innovative with ideas to improve ways of working
Experience in building relationships and working with with a diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers;
Customer service oriented, team-player attitude, with strong written and verbal English communication skills (additional language skills would be an advantage).
Proficiency in Google Suite
A desire to learn new skills and continue professional growth
