Everbridge, a global provider of critical communications and enterprise safety solutions, are seeking an Associate Quality Engineer to be based anywhere in Hungary. This is a remote/home-based position that can be based anywhere in Hungary.  As a member of the Everbridge Quality Engineering team, you will be responsible for both functional and non-functional test coverage, including automated API testing. In this role, you will be embedded in an agile engineering team, where you will drive quality best practices into the application development process. What you’ll do:Develop and execute manual test plans for new features and regression tests Track issues and work with developers to identify root causesBuild and maintain dashboards and other software quality monitoring solutionsProvide technical guidance and coaching to developers on quality tasksExamine faults and inefficiencies and identify the true root causesWork closely with the Scrum team, PO and PM on user story definition to drive usability, quality and testability aspectsWork closely with Agile team members to ensure the team's commitments to quality are metGenerate and analyse test reportsTest various third-party integrations by using the APIs of the system as well as by building mocks/simulatorsImprove the test automation coverage by utilizing the API capabilities, and work on the integration of automated regression test suites into the CI/CD pipelineWhat you'll bring: BS/MS in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum 2 years of Quality Assurance experienceStrong written, oral and demonstration skills in English
Bonus to have: Experience with Agile environmentExperience with REST API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)Hands-on scripting experience using Python, JavaScript or similar scripting languagesHands-on experience working with multiple teams across the globeQuality Assurance experience in an automated testing environmentExperience in testing mobile applications (both Android & iOS)Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure Test Manager
