Associate Relations Specialist

MAU is hiring an Associate Relations Specialist in Newberry, SC. As an Associate Relations Specialist, you will interact with and support the MAU Site Manager and customer floor-level supervisors in core functions related to employee onboarding, payroll processing, PPE compliance, direct associate support, policy enforcement, and general administrative tasks.
Benefits Package Competitive Compensation Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Holidays (11) Paid Vacation Great work environment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Care Partners Program Health Club Reimbursement Program Additional supplemental benefit programs 401k Salary Continuation Educational Reimbursement FMLA available after 12 months of service Shift Information Monday to Friday | 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM Career Path Associate Relations Leader Site Manager Other Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field HR certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) Lean Green Belt certification Training in root cause analysis Essential Functions Guide screened candidates through customer sites to showcase the work environment and job expectations Onboard MAU new hires to meet specific site safety and security standards Ensure associate compliance with PPE, dress code, timeclock usage, break schedules, and overall policies Track associate time and attendance in both MAU and client systems, resolving any missed punch events Promote safe work practices and conduct multiple behavioral-based observations using the ICI Process Map each shift Process, verify, and maintain employee documentation, including absences, performance reports, and termination details Audit time records for accuracy and compliance Use sound judgment to assess risks and seek advice when necessary Identify and implement opportunities to improve and streamline work processes Review and authorize all required paperwork to ensure compliance Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills Exhibit flexibility, creativity, consistency, fairness, discretion, and trust Actively listen and apply new information appropriately Participate in safety and other investigations, assisting with securing statements Follow up with customer supervisors on floor-level tasks, including securing PPE Audit associate OJT training records for compliance and provide feedback to the site manager Complete daily ARS standard work and submit it to the ARL or Site Manager Build strong relationships with customer Floor Level Supervisors and Team Leads Exercise skills in listening, questioning, motivating, influencing, and decision-making Work Environment and Physical Demands The working conditions and environments that are created by our customer’s facilities both in administrative areas and manufacturing environments. Working conditions will typically be manufacturing or warehouse settings that may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non-air conditioned (hot/cold) environments to GMP clean room required. Physical Requirements
This position may require the following to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day Travel Minimal travel is required, with a preference for candidates who can accommodate overnight trips.
