The Associate Renewals Manager works directly with existing Workiva customers while building a book of business. The Associate Renewals Manager will focus on renewing subscriptions and services on-time while providing the highest level of customer service throughout the entire quote-to-cash cycle. You will bring effective time management skill to the role, and a growth attitude as you obtain mastery of coordinating, defining and executing renewal strategies and messaging. You will build relationships with Sales, Accounting, Legal and Customer Success in managing subscriptions and supporting Workiva’s renewal strategy and process.
What You’ll Do
Support existing programs to maximize company revenue and resolve customer related contract issues
Be a point of contact with Account Managers to proactively coordinate subscription opportunities and/or resolve issues that may hinder them from maintaining a relationship with Workiva
Uncover accounts which may be at risk and develop plans to mitigate and bring them to closure
Use the facts found in the needs analysis phase to present a compelling demonstration of the Workiva suite of products and services to create a customer belief that they must have Workiva products
Naturally lead the renewal sales process to a close by understanding the competitive landscape and demonstrating Workiva superior value proposition
Review and validate installed base reports
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information to pursue accounts for renewal
Maintain strong customer relationships to help grow the busines
Update customer relationship management tools regularly and timely
Provide consistent and accurate forward-looking information though pipeline analysis
Plan and execute sales strategy with purposeful action to complete the sale and optimize profits
Prioritize selling activities and follows through in a timely fashion
Communicate regularly with a base of accounts that have the potential to increase subscriptions or XBRL services
What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Typically requires a high school/secondary school education and minimum of 1 year of related experience in SaaS sales or renewals; Associate’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of accounting
Basic knowledge of Software as a Service business model
Ability to work from home and be self-directed; scheduling own appointments
Excellent time management and territory management skills
Force Management training is a plus
Travel Requirements & Working Conditions
Up to 10% travel for internal meetings and trainings
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $52,000.00 - $78,000.00✅ Eligible for commission based on sales performance
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
