Associate Reporting Analyst

This position will support the distribution, maintenance and production of multiple reports or workflows to drive improvements and identify opportunities across one or more of the business teams within Revenue Operations.  This includes building lower complexity reports as needed, identifying and fixing report issues, and assisting with ad hoc data pulls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Skills:

Writes SQL queries against data warehouse to support ad hoc data pulls and recurring reports.Applies data cleaning processes to ensure data is reliable and accurate.Designs, builds and distributes recurring reports to provide insight and drive decision making for business operations. Ensures reports are produced timely and error-free.Understands the use and application of Excel, Power Query, Tableau or other tools to create templates and automation for recurring reports.

Problem Solving and Critical Thinking:

Develops insightful dashboards that answer key business problems utilizing various skills in Excel and Tableau including parameters, level of detail and other calculations/visuals as needed.Troubleshoots front-end issues and answers questions about reports independently. Escalates when support is needed.Proactively raises awareness when issues arise that impact reporting, process or business metrics within their work stream.

Project and Time Management:

Participates actively in all working sessions. Synthesizes and sends meeting recaps, including next steps, from meetings.Keeps track of assigned work and balances multiple priorities at once to complete work timely. Responds timely to emails and report questions.Asks for clarification on priorities when needed. Adapts to shifting priorities and time frames.

Communication:

Collaborates with business partners and translates reporting needs and requirements for business operations.Answers questions about report logic, data, and content in a way that partners will easily understand.Uses appropriate vehicles, visuals and technology to support discussions, meetings and presentations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma/Equivalency – RequiredBachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science or equivalent – Highly PreferredIntermediate proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (including Excel) – RequiredIntermediate understanding of SQL programming language – Required
