Associate Research Scientist - Psychometrics
Contract opportunity with Global Clinical Research Organization
Remote, Full time, on Pacific Time zone--does not need to be in same time zone but must operate on these hours
$45 to $53/hr
Requirements:
Master's degree, doctoral-level degree (PhD, MD, PharmD) in biostatistics or psychometrics, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics, psychology or relevant field Experience in a comparable industry, ideally from research organization or pharma environmentStrong attention to detail and superior communication skills (both written and verbal)Solid analytical and organizing skills; including the ability to prepare and present relevant summaries of complex materialsComfort in a client-facing roleExperience mentoring, guiding, and providing hands-on support to less-experienced analystsFluency in at least one primary programming language (R or SAS)Advanced proficiency in MS365 including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams with a focus on Excel proficiencyExperience in clinical outcomes assessments (COAs, including, but not limited to PROs)Proactive, efficient, and adaptable, with the ability to learn quicklyExperience with submissions to regulatory agencies is preferred Demonstrated collaboration and communication skillsGENERAL DESCRIPTION:
-Ability to write psychometric statistical analyses plans or clinical trial PRO endpoint analyses SAPs.
-Publications experience demonstrating expertise in instrument development including reliability, validity, responsiveness and meaningful within patient change.
-Evaluates COAs for appropriate usage in clinical trials including acceptability to FDA guidelines for implementation of COAs as primary or secondary endpoints in RCT, develops analysis plans and guides them through development of regulatory dossiers for COAs, briefing books, and support at FDA and other regulatory meeting.
Summarized Purpose:
Primarily responsible for PRO endpoint strategy including appropriate COA selection, development of evaluation plans and implementation of psychometric analyses.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00
