Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative duties data input and activities to support plant safety initiatives. This position is responsible for identifying the safety training needs of plant personnel as well reviewing plant operations to ensure safety training education is adequate and completed timely. Responsibilities include but are not limited to data input recommending appropriate new directions for safety training auditing plant operations to ensure compliance assist in safety investigations 5 Why Root cause analysis and organizational development activities based on the business objectives of the complex. Maintain and update safety training and required paperwork mandatory meeting materials and annual compliance training records within the different departments; monitor and track daily paper flow for accuracy and completion. Maintaining plant bulletin boards to ensure OSHA and corporate compliance. Assist in tracking creating and follow up on Site Safety Council meetings and work order items Ability to walk out to the different areas of the floor and perform audits and or take different types of monitor readings. REQUIREMENTS: Previous training safety experience preferred production experience preferred . Must have 8 or less attendance points. Must have no disciplines at a written warning or greater. Computer Skills: Knowledge of data entry word documents power points and excel spreadsheets. Special Skills: Ability to make decisions independently and display sound judgment and leadership skills; self-motivated with ability to innovate new concepts; effectively work and communicate with all levels of management. Ability to assist in plant work safe activities and initiatives. Ability to learn how to use label maker noise meters and air sampling tools.
