Associate Sales Executive - Global Forwarding

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: 

Execute outside sales activities to meet or exceed daily, monthly, or annual expectations set by the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Actively engage with and respond to incoming leads within the designated sales region, under RSM leadershipActively drive, organize, and create metrics for outbound leads for the sales region through a variety of prospecting tools including Atmosphere, Hoovers, Panjiva, or as guided by RSMInterpret how multiple factors effecting market conditions could impact a customer’s supply chain and deliver a persuasive case for change  Work with the pricing team to identify the right pricing strategy through a clear understanding of customer buying habits and C.H. Robinson’s within the customer’s supply chain   Effectively communicate externally to customers and prospects while acting as a bridge to internal stakeholdersSupports Sales Executives and Senior Sales Executives to build and deliver proposals to gain exposure and experience Collaborate and partner with Account Management teams to create and execute an implementation plan to effectively transition relationship management dutiesAssist in the development of any SOPs required to manage the customers’ business effectively 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

High school diploma or GED 1-2 years of C.H. Robinson divisional knowledge  Ability to travel up to 80% (domestically) (outside of the office 3-4 days per week) 

Preferred: 

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs Demonstrated negotiation and sales strategies experience Strong presentation and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
