Associate Sales Operations Specialist
Job Description

Zendesk is looking for a driven Sales Operations Specialist to join our high-performing Go-to-Market (GTM) team! At Zendesk, you will have a major impact on the growth and direction of the North America Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Commercial business. As a key member of the GTM Operations team, your mission will be to work with Sales Operations leadership and internal teams to document and refine processes and programs for our successful and fast-growing sales team. Sound exciting? We'd love to talk!

Responsibilities:

Leverage project management, communication, and interpersonal skills to ensure the continued operational success of the North America Sales team.

Monitor completion of cross-functional projects in a timely and efficient manner, flagging risks and resource requirements as needed. 

Partner with the Global Sales Operations and Enablement to build and implement regionally sound processes and programs.

Support change management efforts by contributing to sales planning/enablement documentation and communication build outs. 

Assist Sales Operations leadership in annual GTM planning (territory carve, quota setting) by taking on administrative tasks, identifying ways to save time, and streamlining existing processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Communications, or Social Studies (Psychology, Political Science, History, etc) or equivalent working experience.

2+ years of strategy & operations experience in Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or Analytics functions.

2+ years using technical business tools: Excel/Gsheets (basic functions such as vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formatting), project management tools/concepts (Asana, Jira, RACI, etc)

Organizational master with excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Passion for crafting end to end project plans and improving existing programs.

Effective, clear, and concise verbal and written communication skills.

A penchant for customer service, patience, and resourcefulness.

Prioritizes self-improvement and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified in Project Management, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar business process management and improvement methodologies.

Experience with standard Sales Operations tools such as Salesforce.com, Clari, ZoomInfo, etc.

Familiar with standard Sales and Sales Operations processes and programs such as ROEs (Rules of Engagement), CRM data enrichment, SPIFFs, etc.

2+ years coding experience querying and scoping data using SQL (BigQuery preferred)
