We are looking for an Associate Salesforce Engineer to join our IT applications team in Santa Clara, U.S., reporting to the senior manager of IT Applications. In this role, you will work closely with the Sales and Service teams to support existing and new business processes as well as system functionality. You will implement repeatable and scalable business processes based on best practices in collaboration with all functional stakeholders while maintaining an emphasis on the integrity of the systems. What you’ll do: 

Work on day-to-day Sales Cloud, CPQ, and maintenanceSupport month-end and quarter-end close processesCoordinate with offshore application teams for critical issues, design analysis, and enhancementsMonitor new Salesforce release features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvementsWork on CPQ, pricing, product structure, renewals, and contract co-term related issuesSupport users and business analysts to troubleshoot application issues and develop creative solutions to support business needsBuild and maintain enhancements of Salesforce applications in Sales Cloud and CPQPerform hands-on work in Apex, LWC, Aura framework, Webservices, and other integration patternsBe well familiar with VSC, GitHub, CICD processes, and Agile methodologiesBe an agile, proactive, and a team player 

What you’ll bring: 

2 years of experience in a Salesforce development role, including Apex, LWC, and Visualforce developmentPrevious hands-on experience in Sales Cloud and CPQ is requiredGood understanding of SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST-based web services, SQL, XML, and JavaScriptProficient in Salesforce administrative tasks like creating profiles, roles, users, page layouts, email alerts, approvals, workflows, reports, dashboards, tasks, and eventsGood working experience in sales/channel and quoting related processesGood understanding of version control processes, including check-in, checkout, merge, pull, etc., experience in GitHub/Bitbucket and branching strategy is a plusAbility to juggle multiple tasks and assignments, being aware of the workload and able to set own priorities to meet deadlinesMust have experience with deployment using change-set/VSC/CICD migration tools such as Opsera, Copado, Auto Rabbit, plus working on solving deployment errorsKnowledge of Steelbrick CPQ objects used in quote to order process, contract co-term, and amendments is an added advantageBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business, management information systems, computer information systems, or equivalent IT experienceSalesforce certifications  such as app builder, PD I, and CPQ preferred

Understand the end-to-end application flowCollaborate with Sales, Service, Operations, and Business teams to provide the required production support, deliver business requirements, and bring stability to the applicationHave a deep understanding of the current implementation, extensions, and customizations

After about a year, you will…

Focus on identifying and addressing the root causes of defectsProactively address some of the issues in the application with automation or reuse, which will help manage recurring defects and give you additional bandwidth to focus on more development activitiesRegister for training and certifications that will help you address application needs and support your career growth

You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position based in California, $96,000 - $125,800 plus corporate bonus.
