We are seeking an Associate Scientist, Assay Developmentto join IQVIA Laboratories in Austin, TX.

As an Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate levels of raw and batched inventory in support of reagent manufacturing and production testing.
What you’ll be doing:
Ordering, preparing, and staging raw materials to be used in downstream processes.Analyzing, investigating, and correcting inventory discrepancies.Manufacturing reagents required for the testing of samples, including but not limited to coupling of antibodies to beads, biotinylating of antibody for detection, testing of minipool and simplex reagents, batching and qualification of new lots of batched reagents, and troubleshooting problematic reagents.Conducting assigned experiments and assisting in their designs.Following regulatory guidelines and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Performing assay development/redevelopment, optimization, and validation.Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting results. Serving as expert in area of specialization in relations with other scientific personnel.What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific discipline.1 year of related experience in method or assay development or specific methodology area.Requires knowledge of lab principles, terminology, and instrumentation.Or other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
Knowledge of Assay Development and pipetting skills.Communicates effectively with supervisor and colleagues.Good computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Ability to work closely with other members of the laboratory and maintain effective working relationships.What We Offer You:

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $52,500.00 - $87,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
