Job Description
In vivo pharmacology has an opening for an associate scientist I at our Cambridge Crossing laboratories. This position will contribute to efforts aimed at addressing key biology questions within the neuropsychiatric disorders utilizing rodent behavior models to advance drug discovery. This position will perform and assist with execution and optimization in vivo behavioral assays in rodent models and support other related activities such as survival surgeries. The successful candidate will be a motivated, experienced, collaborative, flexible and productive individual and expected to support in vivo biology development efforts for existing early portfolio programs as well as participate in target validation for the exploratory pipeline.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Plan and execute rodent behavior experiments including compound formulation, dosing and handling, behavioral testing and observations, tissue sampling.Analyze data and present results to in vivo group, project teams, or other internal groups Support and assist with development and execution of survival surgery experiments (e.g. stereotactic surgeries) Maintain full compliance with animal welfare protocols Assist with study report compilation and data review of internal and external experiments Help design studies, research new animal models and disease areas of interestQualifications
The position will be filled at a level that aligns with the candidate's education, experience, and achievements.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
