The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills, with a knack for overcoming challenges.  Key Responsibilities: + Synthesis: Assist in the synthesis of oligonucleotides using automated synthesizers. Follow established protocols and ensure accuracy in reagent preparation and reaction conditions. + Purification: Perform purification of oligonucleotides using techniques such as FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) and HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). Monitor purification processes to achieve high-quality results. + Analysis: Analytical assays will be conducted to verify the quality and identity of synthesized oligonucleotides using LC-MS. + Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results. Ensure all documentation is compliant with company standards and regulatory requirements. + Lab Maintenance: Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory equipment. Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed. + Collaboration: Work closely with senior chemists and other team members to support ongoing projects. Contribute to problem-solving discussions. Minimum Qualifications:  + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field with 2-4 years’ industry experience or Master’s degree with 1-2 years’ industry experience. + Hands-on experience performing solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis and FPLC/HPLC purification + Proficient in the operation of automated synthesizers + Experienced in the application of LC-MS for analysis of oligonucleotides + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship The Ideal Candidate will Have:   + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols precisely. + Excellent organizational and time-management skills. + Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and conveying technical information clearly. + Good scientific thinking, initiative, and ability to troubleshoot The position is a full-time, 1st shift role.  Hours will be Mon-Fri from 8 am-5 pm.
