**Associate Scientist** Laboratory Omaha, NE, US Pay Rate Low: 28 | Pay Rate High: 30 + Added - 03/01/2025 Apply for Job **_Our esteemed client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an exceptional Associate Scientist to join their dynamic team._** **Pay:** $28-30/hr **Location:** Omaha, NE **Job Type:** Contract **Key Responsibilities:** + Routine collaboration with Analytical Technology Solutions, Bioprocess Technology Solutions, Research & Development, Operations, and Quality Control colleagues. + Performs method improvement lab activities across multiple test platforms including live virus and bacterial titrations, hemagglutination assays, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs). + Supports cross-functional teams in simple and complex investigations for in-line Quality Control assays. + Prepares and/or audits in vitro test data for statistical analysis. + Assists in the preparation of protocols or reports for submission to regulatory authorities. **Education/Experience:** + Bachelor’s Degree/Master's degree in a Relevant Biological Area (Bacteriology, Biology, Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, Virology). + 3 years’ bench level laboratory experience in the Animal Health industry, preferably in an analytical support role or R&D. + Expanded knowledge in at least one biological area or analytical platform; experience in other biological areas or across analytical platforms. + Proficient in technical writing and use of Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). + Virus or bacterial titrations, hemagglutination assays, or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs). + Experience working in animal health, R&D or human health. \#INDBH We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
