Associate Scientist

The Associate Scientist is responsible for planning, executing, and reporting the production and characterization of antibody conjugates to senior members within set timelines. This position reports to the Senior Scientist and is part of the Conjugation Development Platform Team located in Research and development and will be on-site in the Cambridge, UK headquarters. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Plan and execute experiments for the production and characterization of antibody conjugates. + Report progress and findings to senior team members in a timely manner. + Maintain detailed and accurate records of all laboratory activities in the laboratory notebook. + Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones. + Collaborate with team members to meet project goals. The essential requirements of the job include + Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with several years of experience in antibody purification and conjugation. + Proficient in chromatography and affinity purification techniques and theory for proteins separation (e.g. SEC, IEX, RP). + Expertise in antibody-oligonucleotide conjugation and purification (Lys-based and site-specific). + Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Use of HPLC. + Assay development (ELISA) The salary range for this role is £30-40,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
