Principal Responsibilities: + Perform and optimize in vitro display techniques such as phage display and yeast display for molecule discovery and selection. + Conduct experiments involving DNA/RNA library construction, DNA purification, protein expression, purification, and characterization. + Execute assays to evaluate the binding, off-rate, and functionality of selected candidates (flow cytometry, ELISA, Octet, etc.). + Analyze, interpret, and document experimental data while maintaining accurate and detailed records. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project objectives and timelines. + Contribute to troubleshooting, protocol development, and the continuous improvement of laboratory workflows. + Prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries for internal discussions and external collaborations. Qualifications: + A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline is required. Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related discipline is preferred. + Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques (e.g., Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), cloning, transformations, etc.) is required. + Familiarity with in vitro display technologies (e.g., phage display, yeast display) is highly preferred. + Proficiency in assay development, including ELISA and other binding/activity assays, is preferred. + Experience with automation platforms or high-throughput screening systems is preferred. + Knowledge of bioinformatics tools for sequence analysis and library design is preferred. + Prior experience in therapeutic discovery or biotechnology industries is preferred. + Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is required. + The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic research environment is required. + This position is laboratory-based, and will require adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work with biological samples and chemicals.
