Responsibilities:

Installing and configuring security equipment: Responsible for OS/firmware upgrade, hardware burn-in test, staging and basic configuration of security equipment (physical/virtual) such as firewall, network access control, web security appliance, etc.Project delivery: Able to work independently on assigned projects with minimal supervision and support from senior team members.Collaboration with other teams: Work collaboratively with other project team members to ensure the assigned projects are completed within the stipulated timelines. Actively engage in internal and external project meetings to support and drive project success.Assisting with implementation: Act as backup/secondary project engineer in assisting other engineers in deploying security solutions that meet the customer’s requirements.Technical documentation: Responsible for creating technical documentation such as Low-Level Design (LLD), Technical Design Specifications (TDS), As-built, UAT and SAT documents. Knowledge transfer: Responsible for providing handover the project to client and internal operations team.Staying up to date with industry trends and developments: Interns should stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the networking industry and can take up new projects as and when required.

Requirements:

Demonstrating enthusiasm and a strong desire to pursue a career in the security fieldPossess a minimum of a diploma, bachelor’s degree, or professional certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.CCNA certified (Preferred)Knowledge of Cisco LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, Network Access Control, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, etc.Willing to work after normal office hours during migration windows and project implementationsGood team player who is able to make contributions to ensure the success of project deliveryAble to communicate confidently and effectively
