Work performed in the area of security is performed in accordance with DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency) 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, and the Intelligence Community Directives, and/or other applicable agencies which conduct regular security audits and/or investigations.
Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Enforce and monitor security procedures.Ensure compliance with all aspects of the government and company security policies and procedures related to physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation and debriefings.Develop and implement security procedures in coordination with management personnel.Conduct security briefings and maintain security education programs.Investigate losses and security violations; may recommend corrective action.Maintain liaison with outside agencies and keep upper management informed of all security activities.Ensure destruction of classified and company proprietary information in accordance with policies and procedures.Assists in revision of procedures manuals.Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.Individuals are expected to remain current in their knowledge of security via online training/other means offered through DCSA or other industry recognized educational services, researching and following current events related to security and /or through professional networking security groups.Work Environment:

Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.2-4 years of relevant experience.Must be able to obtain and maintain requisite security clearances and/or accesses.Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.Ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.Understands key industry drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.Desired:
Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, as well as ICD documentsFamiliarity with EQIP, DISS, and/or other Industry software applicationsFamiliarity with personnel and physical requirements among the Intelligence Community and DoDReady to Make a Difference?
