This role works in collaboration with internal teams in support of the Core Processing application to provide
technical support, monitor system resources, custom scripting based on requirements, escalate problems to
vendors, implement planning solutions, and deployment support in accordance with production change
management policies.
Essential
Duties
● Provide technical assistance for analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of
the primary and supporting applications for the Core Processing products
● Develop shared knowledge of leveraged tools on the Infrastructure Operations team, eliminating
single points of knowledge and dependencies
● Verify and modify AIX/Linux operating systems, configuration files, kernel parameters, network
settings, and other required application changes.
● Analyze and resolve problems associated with operating systems and application behavior
● Respond to outages and performance incidents
● Participate in the Software release management lifecycle
● Ensure all procedures are followed and updated as needed
● Proactively manage the performance and capacity of an application from a systems viewpoint
● Play a pivotal role in implementing Operational control, monitoring and visibility to the platforms.
Other Duties
● Participate in change review meetings as needed.
● Participate in compliance audits as needed.
● Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and maintenance support functions for areas of responsibility
for the team

Required
Qualifications
● 3+ years of AIX, Linux, or UNIX application administration experience in a 24/7 operating
environment.
● 4+ years experience in troubleshooting in an HA work environment
● 2+ years experience in Mainframe CICS.
● 2+ years experience with Perl/Ksh scripting.
● 2+ years experience in data encryption technologies.
● Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
Preferred
Qualifications
● 2+ years experience with Oracle RAC systems.
● Experience with the UniKix application suite.
● Technical certifications pertinent to AIX operating systems.
● Experience in highly available OLTP environments.
● Experience in public cloud offerings.
● ITIL certified will be an added advantage.
