If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match. **What you will do** We are hiring an **Associate Service Market Engineer** within Volvo Group North America’s (VGNA) Uptime and Customer Support organization. In this role, you will be responsible to proactively work with varies business functions to ensure repair strategies are obtainable and achievable in the service market. You will drive service solutions to the service market for quick resolution of our top-quality issues, ensuring speed of repairs and customer uptime. **Your responsibilities in this role will include (but not limited to):** · Introducing containment solutions to minimize problems in the service market. · Ensure repair strategies for product issues are obtainable and achievable in the aftermarket. This includes balancing warranty cost, vehicle uptime, and impact to the customer. · Support a cross functional team evaluating and optimizing our top vehicle down time repairs. · Support the communication and implementation of recalls and campaigns in the service market to include · Generating source documentation for clear communication · Ensuring the quality of the repair instructions · Work cross functionally within the teams managing the communication to the service market for quality solving status, service repairs, and campaigns. · Develop and source documentation for addressing quality issues in the service market to include, recalls & campaigns, technical service bulletins, service news, and CBR solutions. · Support the Quality Warranty Team projects. **Inspirational aspects of this role:** · Develop repair strategies addressing quality issues – end to end. · Help maximize uptime for our customers. · Directly impact the P&L. · Enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others · Enjoy working with people (internal and external) **Who are you?** **Important Competencies/Skillset:** · Good oral and written communication skills. · Quality Advocate that is customer focused. · Ability to influence other individual contributors. · Innovative thinking. · Service mindset. · Ability to perform a wide variety of task. · Challenge other team members on repair strategies. · Analytical & logical mindset. · Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite Applications. · Enjoy being part of a team. **Education/Experience:** · You hold a BA/BS Degree in Engineering (other degree plus experience may be considered).
