POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking an Associate Software Developer for the Testing and Energization Division. The Software Development team is responsible for application development within our Testing and Energization Business Unit to support design and engineering efforts. This position would collaborate with other team members to provide custom solutions for our business.
The Software Development team is geographically dispersed and offers its members the opportunity to work in a remote, in-office or hybrid work environment.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesDevelop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systemsSupport, maintain, and document software functionalityAnalyze code to find root causes of errors and revise programs as neededPerform audits and implement security best practicesRequired Education/ExperienceA bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or management information systems from an accredited universityExperience with .Net, Python, Smartsheet DevelopmentGood verbal and written communication skillsGood problem-solving skills and initiative to take ownership of tasksAbility to work effectively within a geographically distributed teamStrong work ethic and attention to detailCandidate must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorshipDesired Education/ExperienceCSS, JavaScriptVisual Studio, MS SQL ServerUp to 3 years of experienceAt POWER Engineers, you can have a rewarding career on every level.
