Job Description: Associate Specialist

FactSet is a leader in providing research and analytical tools to finance professionals. FactSet offers instant access to accurate financial data and analytics around the world. FactSet clients combine hundreds of databases from industry-leading suppliers into a single powerful information system.

Responsibilities
• Assist Global Product Specialists with projects that can last from a few weeks to a few months
• Customize the product according to plan, within the predefined time frame, workload, and specifications
• Implement client projects locally by recreating their specific environment (from both a core product and customisation perspective)
• Work closely with Product Specialist in client-facing regions to respond to client requests
• Follow best practices for different types of implementation
• Ensure the highest quality of deliverables
• Proactively monitor and report project status to Project Manager and Team Lead

Job Requirements
• A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent – Computer Science, IT, or Engineering are preferred
• Superior client service attitude and skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, and solid organizational skills a required
• Superior proficiency/skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Background knowledge in programming or data management is preferred.
• Demonstrates critical thinking ability and willingness to learn new technologies
• Background with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL is a plus
• Desire to work on shifting schedules
