Associate Specialist, Marketing Support

Role

Responsible for providing support to sales and marketing staff, assisting with the request for proposals, assembling the marketing/sales presentation materials, and updating the materials as needed. Assists in routine interpretation of market research and competitor information. Coordinates mass mailing lists and produces sales performance reports.

Major Duties:

Provides support to sales and marketing staff by interacting frequently with word processing, graphics, printing, and the sales staff to coordinate unit's needs.

Develops, updates, customizes, and assembles marketing or sales materials for client/prospect presentations or meetings.

Assists with responses to requests for proposals and in developing routine fee proposals.

Assists in routine interpretation of market research and competitor information.

Assists in coordinating the arrangements for seminars, meetings, and conferences sponsored for bank clients and prospects.

Coordinates mass mailing lists and the mailings of materials to prospective clients.

Obtains competitor information for marketing research and sales staff as requested.

Interacts on an ongoing basis with partners in operations and product areas to obtain current information on products and services to support the sales efforts.

Provides support to sales staff for existing client reviews and re-bid situations, identifying and providing the information to respond to a fee review.


Knowledge:

Knowledge of financial products and services

Basic marketing concepts usually obtained through related work experience or formal education is required to assist with fee proposals and develop the marketing materials.

Personal computer skills are needed to develop the sales tools.


Experience:

1-2 years of related experience.
