Profile Summary 

Hands on specialist role for building Reporting and dashboarding function from ground up within India as part of Global Capability Center (GCC) for Wealth Management (WM). The lead, in partnership with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer business and Technology Practices will build and deliver a cohesive set of metrics and dashboards and leverage data driven decision making to manage risk and drive growth of the business. Primary responsibilities hands on development of Reports and dashboards, workshop facilitation, developing Power BI and Tableau based dashboards, autonomously running several key projects, interaction with business stakeholders, running business workshops and pipelines. Directs Business Intelligence projects and consults with business unit partners to determine the most effective solutions to solve business problems.

Skills

Lead development of a multi-year Reporting and Business Intelligence agenda and roadmap for WM, in collaboration with India Data head and Global Center of Excellence and technology practices, to solve complex client and operational challenges through data solutions.

Prior experience building Reporting Center of Excellence in one of the premier financial institutions.

Experience in developing a Risk reporting framework in financial services organization preferably in Wealth and Asset Management

Ability to gather requirements in collaboration with various business stakeholders and turn them into quick prototypes and iterate in an agile fashion

Strong Data Governance and controls mindset with experience in regulated environment

Wealth management background in implementing BCBS 239 and Basel requirements

Hands-on expertise tools such as Power BI, Tableau (CRM Analytics), Snowflake and Incorta

Business domain experience in Financial Services preferably in Wealth Management

Experience in developing data pipelines and data wrangling tools such as Azure

Risk data experience will be preferred to help quantify the outcomes

Semantic modelling of data to help define business terms and modelling

Premier Institution academic qualification preferred

Relentless focus on quantifiable value delivery and understanding of financial metrics

Disciplined execution and proof of concept approach and disciplined execution of targeted initiatives.

Hands on engagement in Reporting and Analytics efforts for key areas in WM, including current assessment, root cause analysis, development

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to assess current state and architect future-state operating models, processes, capabilities required by both business and technology to successfully adopt digitization and automation solutions.

Lead the change management effort to ensure successful adoption of the transformation effort.

Partner with Technology and Data to develop scalable solutions and evaluate build/buy/outsource decisions.

Knowledge

Strong consultative skills including project scoping, insight gathering, problem solving, Reporting strategy development, influencing, facilitation and consensus building.

Prior experience in integrating and influencing others across a network and unlocking new opportunities to drive excellence in data driven decision making.

Demonstrated track record of developing an enterprise-view, ensure robustness of business cases and tracking of value delivery

Manages a function. Establishes performance standards for the unit. Conducts the performance management process, identifies training and career development needs.

Additional Skills

Manages business, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance and applying business architecture principles to business solutions.

Strong negotiation and vendor management experience. • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to develop materials and effectively present to and persuade executive audiences.

Ability to adapt communication style to act as a liaison between the information technology groups and business teams.

Dynamic relationship building and partnership skills; a strong collaborator with experience leading initiatives across multiple groups and stakeholders. • Excellent motivation and team building skills, including the ability to recruit, develop and retain staff.

Strong situational awareness and decision-making capabilities

Experience

Overall, 7 to 10 years of experience in managing and driving projects and change management.

Experience working in Business data and Analytics within financial services in the area of applications, product management etc.

Track record of developing and driving transformation vision and agenda

Academic qualifications from one of the premier institutions such as IIT or IIM.
