As part of the antibody discovery group, this individual will perform an essential role to support early-stage discovery programs by purification and qualification of antibody samples. They will be expected to perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment, and record work in detailed electronic notebooks.
Responsibilities Plan, perform, analyze, and document laboratory experimentsPrepare cell supernatants and purify antibody samplesBuffer exchange, quality control and normalization of purified samplesTroubleshoot and optimize purification workflows to improve their efficiencyMaintain laboratory instruments and supplies Qualifications Advanced degree in biology, biochemistry or related life sciences field highly preferred1-2 years industry experienceKnowledge and hands-on-experience with protein purification requiredExperience with liquid handling automation a plusStrong organization, communication, and computer skillsFlexible and enthusiastic in a fast paced biotech
