Associate Strategic Account Management Director, CTP

Job Profile Summary

The Associate Strategic Account Management Director supports key client relationships within Clinical Trial Payments, driving client satisfaction, growth, and operational alignment. Working closely with the Director, this role involves engaging with client stakeholders, helping identify growth opportunities, and ensuring a seamless client experience. The Associate Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards in delivery, adapt to evolving client needs, and support the implementation of innovative solutions that showcase CTP's value.

Essential Functions

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.Actively engage with client stakeholders to understand their objectives and align CTP solutions to support strategic goals.Conduct regular business reviews, ensuring clients are informed of performance and initiatives that reinforce CTP’s value.

Revenue Growth & Opportunity Identification

Support account growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client relationships.Leverage understanding of client business and financial objectives to position CTP offerings effectively.Build a network within client organizations to maintain relevance and visibility, supporting long-term growth.

Operational Support & Excellence

Assist in overseeing CTP service delivery to ensure outcomes meet client expectations, acting as a point of escalation when needed.Monitor basic account metrics and resource allocation to support project performance.

Collaboration & Team Development

Work with internal teams to meet client needs and align on goals, supporting process improvements and client insights that drive growth.Mentor junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and client-focused team environment.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in life science, business management, or related field.10+ years of experience in client-facing roles within the life sciences, clinical research, or healthcare technology sectors.Hands-on experience managing mid-sized accounts or supporting large-scale accounts in a CRO or related environment.Experience conducting business reviews and providing performance insights to clients in regulated or highly scrutinized industries.Track record of effectively planning and managing the scope and life cycle of a project, while balancing multiple stakeholders.Extensive experience working with global cross-functional management teams and successful relationship-building with clients, colleagues, and leaders.Exposure to technology platforms for clinical trial operations, with a focus on payments, budgeting, or financial workflows.Familiarity with clinical trial lifecycle processes and the associated financial implications, such as contract management or site payments.

Skills and Abilities

Experience in client-facing roles, with a background in project or program management preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to build client relationships and influence decisions.Solid analytical skills, including familiarity with financial metrics.Adaptable and proactive problem-solver with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative team player, able to work effectively across functions.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $101,600.00 - $188,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
