With a focus on total wealth planning, and wealth specialists to help you deliver on this unique value proposition, you’ll be enabling clients to see not just the big picture, but all the little ones too. **Associate, Strategic Partnerships** **Purpose** We are seeking a highly motivated team player to join Wealth Management team in Mexico who will contributes to the overall success of the International Wealth management business line by executing on the global strategic partnerships strategy while ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The Associate oversees collaboration in their jurisdiction between the Wealth Management (“WM”) team, Offshore business lines, Local Bank Business Lines and External Strategic Parties. This oversight is materialized through ensuring that business strategies, plans, business disciplines, and initiatives are executed/delivered in compliance with governing regulations and internal policies. This role contributes to the long-term profitability of the International Wealth Management business line by promoting cross-referrals between the Wealth and its Partners, increasing client acquisition and decreasing attrition. Stakeholder management is key for this role, as the incumbent will have accountabilities to both Wealth and multiple lines of business. The incumbent will be expected to facilitate the communication of (and coach to) mutual understandings of value propositions, extending to multiple lines of business in addition to offshore offerings. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the governance associated with collaboration. **Accountabilities** Analytics • Monitoring processes to identify opportunities and optimize efficiency; establishing tools and resources to embed process improvements to achieve standards of excellence. • Elaborates dashboards and develops key performance indicators to measure success of the program, both at the level of pods as wells as individual wealth manager and relationship manager. • Supports sales disciplines appropriate to ensure that the partnership between Wealth and Partner Business lines achieves its objectives. • Responsible to communicate the results of all strategic partnerships, and implementation of collaboration strategies and best practices. Align Client-Centricity through Coaching & Support • Leads and drives a customer-focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. • Support, develop and execute partnership business development plans to drive measurable results and that aligns with the IWM strategic objectives. • Provides support as needed to the team members at Wealth & Partner Business lines in identifying opportunities and finding solutions for prospects; available to attend occasional client meetings with the POD members. • Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Strategy • Develop and lead the implementation of long and short-term strategies, initiatives, and programs for increased collaboration between multiple business lines and Scotia Wealth Management partners. • Identifying, developing, collaborating on, and executing strategies that create and sustain a differentiated market presence/position for Partner Business Lines and Wealth Management, while establishing, building, and maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty driving a stable, growing, and profitable business line forward for shareholders. • Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and behaviours; communicating vision/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team. **Experience** • Experience in banking & wealth management, including responsibility for business development, sales management, and communication • Results orientated with proven teamwork and collaboration skills • Good understanding of the Bank’s structures, processes, resources, and delivery networks of financial products and services within the context of the Bank’s sales and service strategies across the various delivery channels • Solid understanding of the effect that change or new programs, products, systems, and regulatory requirements will have on existing operations and client offerings • Strong relationship management skills; ability to build and maintain strong collaborative client and internal/external partner relationships • Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus as well as the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to constantly changing environments • Possesses excellent self-awareness and seeks feedback to leverage opportunities • Strong organization and time management skills, and the ability to work independently • Degree or postgraduate degree, preferably with a focus in business or similar **Consideraciones para tu postulación:** 1.
