The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) has an opening for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) position is responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to achieve solution delivery expectation in support of escalated requirements as part of our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Emergent Requirements Team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and have a desire to provide world-class customer support at our Dallas, TX location.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Irving, TX.
Position Responsibilities
Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions
Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG)
Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution
Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
Delegates tasks to manage workload.
Engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely results
Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan
Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity
Able to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
Basic knowledge in supply chain management
Basic experience in customer support or customer service role
Must have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results driven
This position is for a 24/7, 365 day operation, and must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays and overtime
Must be proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Must have experience applying effective verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skills
Ability to travel 10% as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience
Experience in aerospace support, supply chain management, & logistics planning
Experience with ERP and CRM system, such as SAP and/or Salesforce
Basic proficiency in aerospace industry knowledge
Creative problem solving skills
Basic technical and engineering background
Experience implementing process improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices (e.g. Six Sigma)
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
