We are actively seeking a Associate Support Engineer, CPI/Payroll.  This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Position Summary

This role of Support Engineer, SAP- Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Payroll is to provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of our global customer support team. The position has the responsibility for researching, troubleshooting, and supporting of multiple SAP global clients. Performs requirements gathering, replicates production issues, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, adheres to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), accurate time tracking, and ensuring appropriate utilization. Excellent communication skills required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities within SAP CPI and Payroll modules and related business processes (integrated modules) in a Heterogenous SAP landscape:

Level 3 Support across - Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Requests, Enhancements, and small projectsIncident Management:Analyzing bugs, defects in the production environment within SLA timelinesReplicating issues by coordinating with client business users and Rimini technical developersCoordinate with business users regarding testing bug fixes in development and quality environmentsProviding workarounds for high priority tickets while working on long-term solutionsRoot cause analysis and documentations based on requirements to ensure continuous improvementService Request Management:Perform system maintenance and configurationProduce How To documentation for existing configurationEnhancements / Projects:Estimate enhancements the projects through various phases from gathering business requirements/developing/testing and deploymentGathering and analyzing business/functional requirements and translating them into design specificationsWorking experience on complex customization of programs, t-codes & reportsWriting unit test scripts and conducting unit and integration tests for customizationsSupport User Acceptance Testing and participate in Cutover activities alongside post production changes and hyper careSupport the assessment of change requests (corrections, enhancements), proposing and developing solutionsTaking business transition from incumbent vendors / client IT during new client engagement onboarding phaseAttending knowledge sharing sessions and producing documentationParticipating in Job shadow, Reverse Job Shadow phasesMonitoring Alerts if any on client environment via Rimini Street based tools and/or client based tools and addressing them in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with the client's IT processesWorking on client support timelinesPerformance tuning of existing process to contribute on Continuous Improvement

Education

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Location

Remote - U.S.

Language

Fluent English is mandatory, any other international language is a plus.

Work Experience

6+ years in US Payroll and CPISuccessFactors Employee Central is a plus

Required Skills

SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integrator) Modules in SAP with the following additional functional capabilities:

Plan, manage, implement, support, and/or monitor SAP integration solutions and middleware for on-premise, cloud or hybrid scenariosPlan and conduct customer workshops, design and build integrations and interfaces, create plans for Data Integration and Unit testingUtilize and apply best practices on projects based on experience and in consultation with expertsCollaborate with the Functional and Business teams to understand requirements, issues and provide solutionsMonitor and troubleshoot Process Integrations built in SAP PI/PO/CPICommunicate and work with support users to resolve application errorsDocument changes

SAP Payroll

Gather requirements, configure, test and document client change or maintenance requestsMonitor payroll processing, resolve issue and guide payroll team on data or necessary process changesConfigure wage types, holiday calendars, work schedules, tax models, schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules

The general salary range for this type of role is 90k - 113k depending on skills and experience.
