Associate Systems Analyst (Periop)

The primary purpose of the Associate Systems Analyst position is to provide 1st level systems support for Perioperative Services. To troubleshoot problems in terms of system and customer-department requirements and acts to remediate issues at the desktop and application level.
Ongoing Core Job Development
Associate analysts are expected to incorporate appropriate time during their daily routine to obtain/maintain their Dell certifications and complete their required developmental job-related training. Specific criteria are reviewed, communicated, and socialized with the associate analysts at the beginning of each performance period.
Incident & Service Request Quality, Responsiveness & Productivity
Technicians are expected to perform duties associated with ticketing system assignments within established metrics. These include but are not limited to first day Incident (break/fix) resolution; two-day Service Request (e.g., refresh, software installation, etc.) resolution, and reopened tickets (rework). Specific criteria are reviewed, communicated, and socialized with the technicians at the beginning of each performance period.
Participates in project assignments and preventative rounding through support areas
Participates in project assignments as needed within an operational environment. Maintains project flow and is responsive to institutional needs. Conducts routine rounding through operating rooms, PACUs, ICU, and Sterile Processing, areas to assess operational status of equipment, remediate as needed, and take feedback from faculty on system performance.

Education Required: Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Certification: CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Professional, DELL TechDirect Certified Technician, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician
Experience: None. May substitute required education degree with additional years of related experience on a one-to-one basis or completed years of college on a one to one basis.

Experience working with high demand customers
Experience in clinical support settings
Experience collaborating with multiple teams to get an issue resolved
