Associate Technical Lead

GEOAxIS is looking for an Associate Technical Lead to work with the rest of the technical leadership team to help drive program technical execution, innovation and modernization.

The GEOAxIS system provides Identity, Credential and Access Management for all web applications. GEOAxIS enables online, on-demand, access to NGA GEOINT content based on user’s authoritative attributes/roles. Our Mission is to maintain highly available ICAM services for protecting those critical mission applications across all security domains. The GxNext contract was awarded to Leidos in 2021 and runs until 2031.

Primary Responsibilities

Identify and define future capability and interoperability needs by working with multiple stakeholders.Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring compatibility and interoperability across the enterprise. Conduct systems engineering analysis to identify potential improvements and optimize system performance. Facilitate communication and collaboration between customer workgroups and mission partners to align efforts and to identify, address and implement solutions to enterprise issues. Work with Technical Lead to determine paths and technology for improving operational stability and increased velocity of developmental output and deploymentSupport critical mission applications and RCA (root cause analysis) that lead to future enhancements or automation designed to increase uptime and stabilityAutomation of existing manual processes to reduce chances for error

Basic Qualifications

STEM Bachelors degree plus 4 years, or AS degree plus 6 years of experience in Software Development, DevOps, or Systems EngineeringActive TS/SCI with Polygraph3 Years of DevOps experience1 Year of ICAM (Identity, Credential, and Access Management) experience1 Year of design, implementation, or support of RESTful and/or SOAP services.1 Year of Linux System AdministrationExperience in at least one of the following languages:BashPythonJavaNodeJSLocal to DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) with ability to be physically present at the team’s work location in ChantillyStrong interpersonal skills and proven track record of leading technical teams, conveying technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiencesCandidate must be able to physically be in Chantilly, VA a minimum of 4 days a week to work with the team with occasional meetings in Reston and/or Springfield, VAAll candidates must be US CITIZENS to be considered for the positionSecurity+ certification within 60 days of hire

Pay Range:Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
