Job DescriptionVisa’s Corporate IT group has embarked on a major transformational journey. We will not follow the 'traditional' IT playbook of simply purchasing off the shelf solutions and stitching them together. We are transforming ourselves into a true engineering organization where we put customer experience first, create highly leveraged (and loved) platforms with a heavy emphasis on operational excellence such as ensuring our platforms and services are unbreakable. Where we choose to continue with packaged software we will invent our way around their limitations such as poor UI or scale.
Responsibilities
Works closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and product marketing team to create scripts for video tutorials, infographics, screenshot markups, and User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) copy updates.Update, edit, and proofread written materials such as product manuals, user manuals, how-to guides, and FAQs.Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration.Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation.May serve on quality design, product development, or user experience teams.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
