Associate Technician - Indianola, PA - 2nd shift 

 

Associate Technician – Indianola- PA - 2nd Shift 2pm - 10:20pm

 

We are currently seeking motivated colleagues to contribute to meaningful work in our local manufacturing plants.  Our positions perform meaningful work and includes exposure to advancing technologies, having a voice to challenge our status quo, and training for career advancement.

Our Indianola location operates on 3 eight hour shift schedules. First Shift: 6am-2:20pm, 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10:20pm, 3rd Shift: 10pm - 6:20am, Monday through Friday.

Pay is $23.00 per hour. This position also has a $2.00 per hour shift differential. This position also has up to a 5% yearly bonus.

 

PURPOSE

This position is an entry level Technician position responsible for the overall operation and upkeep of custom production equipment and automation which includes performing mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs, troubleshooting and solving advanced technical problems, adhering to Product Quality and safety standards, and completing technical documentation per requirements in a regulated, cleanroom manufacturing environment.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize your technical expertise to operate and maintain complex automated production systems, ensuring optimal performance, output, and safety;Play a vital role in meeting customer demand and maintaining product quality standards;Provide input to Production, Engineering and Maintenance team members, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience OR an Associates Degree or above;Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team;Demonstrated effective communication skills both orally and written;Demonstrated ability to handle ambiguous situations independently;Demonstrated high standard for quality of work and attention to detail;Demonstrated ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision;Demonstrated ability to effectively cope with change.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in FDA and ISO regulated industries;Experience working within a controlled cleanroom manufacturing environment;Experience with SAP;Experience with preventative maintenance programs and systems;Experience with providing or delivering technical training;Experience with OSHA regulations including LOTO and Arc Flash requirements.  YOUR APPLICATION
