**Overview** The primary function of the **Building Products Testing Technician** is to perform testing on anchor bolts in concrete and all associated tasks related to quality and safety requirements under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor. **Responsibilities** + Install and test anchor bolts per manufacturers published instructions + Use power tool and hand tool associated with installing concrete anchors and fixing wood or aluminum form work, as well as general lab work + Understand and perform testing in accordance with applicable test standards associated with concrete anchors + Assist with assembling and pouring concrete slabs + Maintain test equipment, tools and machinery, and promptly report any malfunctions **Skills / Qualifications** + HS diploma or GED certificate preferred + Minimum 1 yr experience in the construction industry + Forklift experience preferred + Driver's License is Required + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand/power tools + Work is performed indoors and outdoors Physical Demands: + Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate). + Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and > 50 lbs. on occasion + Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time + Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically \#LI-SN1 **Company Overview** Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
