Element has an opportunity for an Associate Testing Technician to join our rapidly expanding team in Warren, MI. As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety product qualification tests for the transportation industry. 

 

Responsibilities Designs, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirementsRequires little supervision and technical input of a Department Manager, Principal Technician, Project Coordinator or EngineerPossesses the ability to mentor and train technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical dataAbility to transfer technical knowledge/requirements and successfully satisfy and meet customer specifications Skills / Qualifications Working knowledge of laboratory safetyHS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed0-2 years’ experience in a testing related fieldBasic understanding of testing conceptsPossess computer skills. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus
