VCA Neshaminy Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Oakford, Pennsylvania.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians.  We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

At VCA Neshaminy, our general practice hospital delivers gold standard medicine.  Our hospital has been in the community for over 35 years, with 6 full time doctors and 35 staff members, most who have been long term employees.  Our facility uses a SmartDR having both digital dental and regular radiographs.  Our Woofware software is very user friendly and allows us to have electronic medical records.  We continue to add new equipment regularly keeping up with technology year over year.

Neshaminy is open 6 days a week:  Monday-Thursday: 8am-8pm, Friday: 8am-7pm and Saturday: 8am-4pm.  We are closed for business on Sundays but do have a functioning kennel that remains open every day.  Our schedule allows us to have 30 minute appointments and we partake in surgery 5 days a week.  Doctor schedules usually include 2 daytime shifts a week, 2 evening shifts a week, and alternating Saturday coverage.

Here at VCA Neshaminy, our team is like one big happy family.  Most of our staff have been here for many years and we are a close knit group.  Our hospital’s longevity facilitates a busy practice with a huge client base.  Our 6 doctor practice sees mostly canine and feline patients, with an occasional pocket pet here or there.  Our location is within Neshaminy School District, which is one of the top school districts in Pennsylvania.  It is a suburban, middle class area, surrounded by towns that offer nice living arrangements.  The area has various options for dining, shopping, and entertainment.  We are located about 35 minutes from center city Philadelphia, and about an hour and a half from New York City, the Jersey shore points, and the Pocono Mountains.
