VCA Animal Hospital of Santa Cruz is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Santa Cruz, California.

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians.  We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

Our well-equipped, spacious facility is warm and welcoming.  To provide excellent care we are equipped with in-house labs, ultrasound, digital radiography, and all radiographs are read out by a radiologist.  Digital dental radiographs are offered for every patient undergoing dental prophylaxis, and VCA’s CareClub provides a cost-effective solution to developing a strong preventative care relationship. Our well-trained and compassionate staff, as well as the VCA management team, are here to support you in providing the very best options for your clients.

We are located in the iconic city of Santa Cruz, minutes from the beach, mountains, and a short drive to all the San Jose region has to offer. There is a bustling downtown strip with many wonderful restaurants and shops. We are a short drive to several gorgeous regional parks and downtown San Francisco. Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000- $140,000. Salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
