The Associate Vice President oversees and manages land development projects, ensuring they align with client contracts, budget requirements, and timelines. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technical professionals while actively engaging with professional and community organizations to enhance the firm's presence.

Responsibilities Manage land development projects to ensure compliance with client agreements, budget constraints, and established schedules.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff, fostering their technical growth and professional development.Cultivate strong, professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders to support project success and company reputation.Prepare accurate and thorough project proposals and client agreements, aligning with project objectives.Coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.Lead and actively engage in the design, plan production, and permitting processes to support the successful completion of land development projects.Contribute to developing and implementing company design and production standards.Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations to increase the company's influence within the industry and local community. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in Texas.Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 8 years in substantial land development project management, including cost estimation for technical tasks.Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, public officials, and community leaders.Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineers and technical staff.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects effectively.Availability to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
