The Associate Vice President of Commercial Land Development is responsible for the supervision and management of commercial land development projects, ensuring they meet contractual agreements with clients, remain within budget, and adhere to established schedules. This role involves leading a team of engineers and technical professionals while actively engaging with professional associations and community organizations.

Responsibilities Oversee and manage commercial land development projects, ensuring compliance with client agreements, budget constraints, and timelines.Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical professionals, fostering their technical and professional development.Prepare proposals and client agreements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.Coordinate and monitor project tasks, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project execution.Lead and actively participate in the design, plan production, and permitting processes for land development projects.Contribute to the development and implementation of company design and production standards.Actively participate in professional associations and civic organizations to enhance the company’s presence and influence within the industry and community. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (P.E.) designation in the state of Texas.Minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 8 years of experience managing substantial commercial development projects from conception to completion, including cost estimation for technical tasks.Extensive knowledge of design and construction practices within the commercial development sector.Proven ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with all levels of employees within an organization.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with employees, clients, public agency officials, and community leaders.Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead a team of engineers and support personnel.Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Availability to work from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
