**Primary Responsibilities for the Learning Institute for Fulfillment and Engagement (LIFE):**
+ **Program Oversight and Development:**
+ Provide leadership and oversight for the LIFE program, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of all program offerings.
+ Direct the expansion of LIFE programs beyond the traditional face-to-face synchronous format, developing strategies to offer courses synchronously online and asynchronously online.
+ Streamline general education course offerings for undergraduate LIFE degree programs, maximizing student access and flexibility.
+ Collaborate with faculty and staff to design and implement effective curriculum and instructional strategies for online and hybrid learning.
+ Oversee the development and implementation of a robust academic coaching model for asynchronous online courses.
+ **Strategic Leadership:**
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan for the University's professional studies, online and adult degree-completion programs, aligning with the institution's overall mission and goals.
+ Oversee the development and implementation of innovative academic programs, including new program launches and program enhancements.
+ Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the division, encouraging faculty and staff to explore new educational modalities and technologies.
+ **Faculty and Staff Development:**
+ Recruit, hire, and develop a high-quality faculty and staff team to support the University's professional studies, online and adult degree-completion programs.
+ Provide leadership and support for faculty and staff professional development, focusing on online teaching, instructional design, and technology integration.
+ Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that empowers faculty and staff to excel in their roles.
+ **Student Success and Support Services:**
+ Develop and implement comprehensive student support services, including academic advising, tutoring, and career counseling.
+ Monitor student progress and retention rates, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions.
+ Collaborate with financial aid and admissions offices to ensure a seamless student experience.
+ **Enrollment Management and Marketing:**
+ Oversee the development and implementation of effective marketing and recruitment strategies to attract and enroll qualified students.
+ Collaborate with the University's marketing and communications teams to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
+ Lead the development of data-driven enrollment management strategies to optimize student recruitment and retention.
+ **Technology and Innovation:**
+ Lead the integration of technology into the delivery of professional studies, online and adult degree-completion programs.
+ Oversee the development and implementation of a robust learning management system and other educational technologies.
+ Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and pedagogical approaches, particularly those that support an adult-education learner.
+ **Budget and Resource Management:**
+ Develop and manage the division's budget, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources.
+ Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the division, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
+ **External Relations and Partnerships:**
+ Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including employers, industry organizations, and community colleges.
+ Represent the University at professional conferences and industry events.
+ Advocate for the University's professional studies, online and adult degree-completion programs with external stakeholders.
**Responsibilities for Other University Programs and Strategic Initiatives:**
+ **Program Development and Oversight:**
+ Lead the development and implementation of new academic programs and initiatives that address emerging market needs and student interests.
+ Oversee the curriculum development and review processes to ensure program quality and relevance.
+ Provide oversight of review and approval of academic program proposals.
+ Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation to drive continuous improvement in program delivery and student outcomes.
+ **Strategic Leadership:**
+ Oversee the work of the Coordinator for University Programs and Strategic Initiatives (C-UPSI), providing guidance, support, and strategic direction.
+ Ensure that the C-UPSI's efforts align with the University's overall goals and contribute to the success of the institution.
+ Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that will advance the University's mission and goals.
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for University programs and initiatives.
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students, to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
+ Identify emerging trends and opportunities in higher education and develop innovative strategies to position the University as a leader in the field.
+ **Faculty and Staff Development:**
+ Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of faculty and staff to support the University's academic programs.
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to faculty and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
+ Promote professional development opportunities for faculty and staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
+ **Enrollment Management:**
+ Lead the development and implementation of new academic programs and initiatives that address emerging market needs and student interests.
+ Oversee the curriculum development and review processes to ensure program quality and relevance.
+ Develop and implement strategies to increase student retention and persistence.
+ **External Relations:**
+ Represent the University at national conferences, professional workshops, and other relevant events.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including alumni, donors, industry leaders, and community partners.
+ Advocate for the University's programs and strategic initiatives at local, state, and national levels.
+ **Team Leadership and Management:**
+ Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of professionals to support the University's strategic goals.
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
+ Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
