GENERAL SUMMARY: The role of the Associate Branch Manager is to assist the Branch Manager by overseeing all daily operations of the branch and ensuring all functions are completely and properly performed by the staff in the absence of the manager. The Associate Branch Manager will serve as a mentor to staff as well as develop and promote additional business for the branch through community relations and providing superior service to customers.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist with the management and motivation of the staff to meet goals and objectives relating to branch profitability, volume, lending, credit quality, collections and expense.

· Make loan decisions up to established lending limits or recommend loan decisions; process consumer loans; close consumer loans; collect accounts in varying stages of delinquency.

· Assist branch manager with business development relationships within the community. Sell products and services to meet sales goals.

· Assist customers with the implementation of solutions, and monitor overall customer satisfaction.

· Assist branch manager with matters regarding hiring, staffing, training, performance reviews and terminations as applicable.

· Ensure a high quality of customer service.

· In the Managers absence, serving as the team lead, coordinating all branch functions and serving as the primary point of contact for daily operational issues

· All other duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or GED

· 5 plus years consumer finance or related experience

· Ability to work with minimum supervision

· Excellent communication skills

· Proficient working knowledge of industry or related industry lending software, Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word Applications

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

· Bilingual, Spanish/English
