Position Summary:

     

The Training Assistant shall work under the supervision of the Operations Lead in designing, implementing, and evaluating the training programs for RCMI employees and RCCL Crew members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Facilitates Anti-Piracy Awareness Seminar, Pre Departure Orientation Seminar, and RCM- initiated trainings Design training program as required by government agencies Prepare schedule of trainings for crewmembers and issue certificates accordingly. Facilitates RCMI Internship program. Prepares modules for mandatory and company –initiated trainings Ensures team is abreast in the updates in the Cruiseline and Maritime Industry. Assist in CFW related tasks Submit reports to government agencies Ensure compliance to established procedures Ensure compliance with government rules and regulations as well as compliance with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCL) policies, guidelines and procedures. Participate in continuously reviews the business process of the team and recommend changes necessary to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness; Execute action plans in the business process; and Provides feedback to the Operations Team Leader with regard to the efficiency as well as continuous improvement of the operations processes. other tasks as maybe assigned by the Operations Lead.  

Qualifications:

 

a Bachelor’s Degree holder (Hotel and/or Hospitality, Psychology and Human Resource, and/ or Maritime Education are preferred) Strong background in Maritime Industry working in Licensed Manning Agencies working in the front end Ability to carry out presentation to big audience Comfortable in using technology to delivery training programs Training position is preferred, but not required proactive – has the ability to share ideas and offer solutions strong communication skills, both written and verbal a friendly and driven attitude has the ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

knowledge in training design, implementation and assessment knowledge in the Cruiseline and Maritime industry is an advantage healthy interpersonal skills
