The Role / Responsibilities: The role will be responsible for generating new AML, EDD, KYC / KYS / KYB, compliance, supply chain and supplier risk-related deals and supporting the sales cycle process through to the successful closure of deals.

The successful candidate will work within the framework of growing the client base, assisting the sales team in new business generation for KYC, KYS and compliance domain-related business, and providing expert knowledge on MA solutions.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proven capability:

Strong prospecting and new business development experience Meet established revenue targets while creating new and enhanced customer relationships to ensure client satisfactionManage full lifecycle sales process which includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging off existing client relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiationsGenerate new revenue from research, product and service solutions and defend & growing existing revenue streamsRepresent the company at industry and company-sponsored events, as requiredRespond to RFIs and RFPsDemonstrate the superiority and value of our solutions to potential and existing clientsPartner with the wider sales team to build the sales pipeline and promote Moody’s Analytics solutionsWork with the Partnership & Alliance team to expand Moody’s footprint in the market through partner ecosystemProvide guidance and leadership to existing members of the KYC sales teamAssist senior sales management with sales strategy development and implementation.Knowledge of the financial industry or the NBFI industry is highly preferrable

This role will report to the Head of KYC and Data Sales (Oceania & ASEAN).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree requiredProven track record of sales production and quota attainment, preferably within the consultancy / advisory or corporate industryStrong track record in opening up new markets and winning new logosPrevious experience in selling complex data solutions is preferredPrevious experience in providing supply chain and supplier risk assessment advice and involvement in supply chain transformation projects is preferredProven record in navigating more complex sales cycles rather than transactional salesCreative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutionsAt least 4 years’ experience in consultative selling with ability to influence key decision makersAbility to interact with Senior level stakeholdersExcellent presentation and negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of supplier risk related productsTravel required within Australia and NZ (up to 30%)
