Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to efficiently operate and maintain data center facility infrastructure. This includes responsibility for the continuous power and HVAC to the server production environment, facility staff supervision, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, contract management and facilitation of multiple work activities. The role will provide day-to-day oversight and direction to ensure operational safety and efficiency for 100% uptime. The Assistant Manager will accomplish these responsibilities though the effective coordination of facility personnel and vendors. The facility team will work cross functionally to deliver strategic and functional initiatives in-line with operational goals.
What you will do
Oversee safe and continuous operation and Uptime of the data center facilities on systems, such as: Fire/Life Safety, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Controls, Electrical UPS, PDU, Generators, Switchgear, and Lighting)Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs of base building and critical facility systems.Participate in 24X7 on-call rotation to address around the clock response and remediation of facility anomalies.Assist in the development and coordination of facility upgrades and repairs while ensuring minimal risk and impact to the data center.Ensure compliance of all code, laws, and regulations affecting the facility infrastructure and operation.Oversee vendor management including contract oversight, and on-site coordination.Oversee Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Develop and maintain facility drawing library, SOP’s, SOO’s, and MOP’s.Works with business unit leadership ensuring that the facility efficiently supports the needs of their functional activities.Ensures that the facilities remain in compliance with NFPA, local fire municipalities, OSHA and EPA regulations.Document work activities, approvals, and incidence root cause analysis through change control and quality processesRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Architecture, Engineering, Business or related field of studyFacilities maintenance experience and certifications HVAC, Electrical, UPS, OSHA and LOTO CertifiedBuilding automation system experienceConstruction management experienceExperience with Microsoft Office Applications, Word, and ExcelPreferred Qualifications
Trade license and/or trade school degree in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical HVAC, or ControlsCollege degree in Facility management, Industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or alike.About Lowe’s
