Position Summary:

Assists in the coordination and completion of a wide variety of projects to assist in the implementation and monitoring of healthcare transformation activities.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Assists project managers in the coordination and completion of projects.  Responsible for assigned aspects of projects.  May assist in monitoring and summarizing progress of project.  Prepares reports, or assists project managers in preparing reports, regarding status of project(s).  Uses experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals.  Assists project managers to develop, implement, and manage policies and procedures related to assigned project(s).   Works within budget, assists with service contract negotiations, and reports on progress.   Works closely with internal departments regarding strategy and collaboration.   Assists with preparing progress reports for both management and governmental agencies.   May prepare/make oral and/or visual presentations.   Develops and maintains project documentation.  Performs a variety of tasks.  Uphold internal controls which provide reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets are safeguarded, and financial information is reliable and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

Certification/Skills:

Should be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures; experience with MS Office and MS Project preferred. 

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree; Master’s degree preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
