Job Summary:
The Assurance Manager, Accounting Advisory & Outsourcing is responsible for understanding complex accounting and reporting matters and assisting companies with the proper application of accounting standards for both public and private companies. This role will assist companies with the implementation of new accounting standards as well as other accounting and reporting related projects. The Manager will be expected to administer training on accounting and reporting related matters both internal and external.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or Economics, required; OR Bachelor’s degree in other focus area AND CPA certification, required Master’s in Accountancy, preferredExperience:
Five (5) or more years of prior work experience in public accounting, required Prior supervisory experience, requiredLicense/Certifications:
CPA certification (or an international equivalent), requiredSoftware:
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, preferred Experience with accounting research databases, preferredLanguage:
N/AOther Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Solid understanding and proficiency of accounting standards and reporting requirements for public companies Strong leadership and management skills Superior written and verbal communication skills Advanced knowledge of GAAP and SEC
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $110,000 - $125,000
Colorado Range: $110,000 - $125,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $110,000 - $125,000
Washington Range: $110,000 - $125,000
