Salary and Other Compensation:

The base annual salary for this position is between $[110– 130,000+] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Applications will be accepted until 9/25

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 11 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Quality Basics Java Python Data Management Functional DQG Architect and Ataccama. This role involves designing and implementing robust data management solutions to enhance our companys data integrity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Provide technical expertise in Java and Python to develop scalable and efficient data processing applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards. Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring systems. Conduct regular data quality assessments and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices for data management and data quality assurance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on data quality and management practices. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business objectives. Participate in the evaluation and selection of data management tools and technologies. Ensure the scalability and performance of data management solutions. Document data management processes and procedures for future reference.

Responsibilities:

· Hands-on experience as a DQ solution architect with configuration, implementation and maintenance of medium or large scale Data Quality projects for customers using Ataccama.

· Work with Data Governance Practice Lead, Metadata Lead and other team members to implement DQ solution and execute integration use cases between Ataccama Data Quality with Alation.

· Work closely with business/application SMEs, determine strategy to define data quality rules for CDEs, associate them with DQ dimensions, generate data quality scorecard on various data sources in Cloud and On prem.

· Closely work with Offshore team, co-ordinate, assist and guide them to ensure seamless delivery.

· Hands-on experience with data profiling, DQ rules, data analysis and data observability.

· Should have clear functional understanding of data governance, data catalogging and its integration with data quality.

· Define SOP and guidelines for implementing data quality solution, remediation methodologies, associated workflows using Ataccama for diverse data assets (SOR, Warehouse, Cloud & On prem)

· Design integration pattern for data quality rules, dimensions and respective score with data governance tool such as Alation

· Experienced in creating and managing visualization dashboards for DQ including customizations.

· Hands on with both web and desktop (One Desktop) versions of Ataccama

· Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure (preferable), AWS and Snowflake.

· Comfortable working as a technical lead with with other teams/vendors to resolve issues.

· Have a solid understanding of DQG Architect principles.

· Show expertise in using Ataccama for data quality management.

· Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Display strong communication and collaboration abilities.

· Have a proven track record of implementing data quality frameworks.

· Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members.

· Show a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

· Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Have experience in developing and implementing data governance policies.

· Be detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
